The Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales (“BHRC”) releases today, 16th May 2014, a statement on the sixth anniversary of the arrest of Baha’i leaders in Iran.
As noted in the statement, ‘the BHRC is concerned that the charges are political and that the subsequent trial faced by the seven did not meet international standards of openness and fairness’.
