BHRC Chair Kirsty Brimelow QC is concluding her term as Chair after 6 years as the Chair and 15 years on the Executive Committee.
Nominations for Chair are now open. Any member of BHRC can be nominated for Chair of the Bar Human Rights Committee and all members are entitled to put forward nominations and vote. Nominations should be sent to the Executive Officer, Amanda June Chadwick at coordination@barhumanrights.org.uk by 16:00 on 26 November.
The timeline for the election are as follows:
- By 16:00, Monday 26 November: all nominations for Chair to be received.
- By 16:00, Thursday 29 November: list of nominations for Chair are circulated for elections.
- By 16:00, Thursday 6 December: Chair elections close
- Wednesday 12 December: Chair announced at Farewell Event
