In reponse to a call for submissions from the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the theme “Towards a better investment in the rights of the child”, the BHRC submitted a report on female genital mutilation (FGM). Sent on 3rd October 2014, the submission will be considered by the OHCHR in preparation of their report for the March 2015 session of the Human Rights Council.
