Produced by human rights lawyer and co-author of the UN Panel of Experts report on mass atrocities in Sri Lanka, Yasmin Sooka, as well as the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales (BHRC) and the International Truth & Justice Project, Sri Lanka, the report draws on testimonies, medical examinations and psychiatric assessments from 40 victims – Tamil men and women who had sought asylum in the UK.

The report has already had an impact in the UK. In August 2014, the Home Office included its findings in their Country Information and Guidance document, Sri Lanka: Tamil Separatism.
